It had been about three weeks since the babies had been finally taken back home. Lucie was enjoying herself immensely, even if she was trying to get her strength back. Having twins took a lot of out of her. The twins had just woken up from a nap a moment or two later and started to cry. Lucie, who had been trying to take a nap as well, stirred and rubbed her eyes and went to go check on them both. It was entirely possible the Doctor had gotten there first. |

It had been almost nine months. Maybe it was a little early, but that's the thing with twins. They rarely came within the actual 40 weeks. They'd been somewhere and had just come back from a lot of running around. Okay so maybe with Lucie being as big as she was she didn't run. She waddled, she was so big. Ever since they had gotten back though, she'd had some stomach pains. She didn't know if they were quite serious, well up until her water broke all over the library floor.
That's what she got for raising on her tiptoes to put books away. Lucie shouted for the Doctor as loud as she could, bent over the chair, hands gripping the arm rest. Oh that was bad. Bad bad bad. Well no, good. But still, it hurt like a bitch. |

Lucie had been in the TARDIS for months and months now. They were kind of settled in their relationship, but in a nice way. It was still fun and happy and when he got upset, she handled it as best as she could. Lately though she had been feeling awful. She figured that she had just eaten something bad. Or that she'd gotten sick somehow down the line.
Days this had gone on, up until she realized that she'd missed her period. She was late. So Lucie had panicked. Quite rightly too, because upon using the scanner, she found out that she was actually pregnant.
Right after that, she'd kind of slumped up against the central column in the control room and stared, kind of blankly. Oh. My. God. |
